Building Investor Communities That Actually Work
We started Oyralex because we were tired of seeing retail investors navigate markets alone. Most people get drowned in noise while institutional players share research behind closed doors.
Our platform brings individual investors together to share due diligence, challenge assumptions, and make more informed decisions. Not through hype or hot tips—but through structured collaboration and genuine peer review.

From Frustration to Solution
Back in early 2023, three of us were meeting monthly at a Calgary coffee shop to discuss our portfolios. We'd each done research on different sectors. The conversations were valuable—catching blind spots, questioning narratives, sharing sources.
Then we realized: this informal peer review was more valuable than most paid services we'd tried. But it was limited to our small group and inconsistent schedules.
By June 2024, we'd built the first version of Oyralex—a structured way for investors to form research groups, share analysis, and hold each other accountable. Not everyone gets every call right. But the process of defending your thesis to peers who ask tough questions? That changes how you invest.
What Guides Our Work
These aren't aspirational statements we put on the website. They're practices we built into how the platform works and how we operate.
Transparency Over Hype
We show track records of community predictions. Both wins and losses. Members learn more from documented mistakes than curated success stories.
Process Beats Predictions
Anyone can guess right once. We focus on building repeatable research habits, structured analysis frameworks, and decision journals that improve over time.
Community Accountability
Members review each other's research before sharing publicly. It's uncomfortable at first. But it forces clearer thinking and catches lazy assumptions.
Education First
Every analysis template includes learning resources. We'd rather members understand valuation methods than just copy someone else's price targets.
Risk Awareness
Every shared thesis must include what could go wrong. Markets are uncertain. Investors who pretend otherwise usually learn expensive lessons.
Long-Term Mindset
We don't optimize for daily trading excitement. Members tracking quarterly business performance tend to make better decisions than those chasing weekly price movements.
People Behind the Platform
Small team. We each use Oyralex for our own investing. That keeps us focused on building tools that actually help rather than features that look good in screenshots.
